it did for us yesterday…we went to Pei Wei for lunch.
I’m boycotting Chinese food.
It’s only 9 am here, and I want Wonton Soup!
Ppppsssshhhhtttt! I’m always craving Chinese, and almost all Asian food for that matter.
We rarely eat Chinese food, but we did last night. Hmmmm. I haven’t watched a lick of the Olympics yet. But could it just be in the atmosphere? Subliminal suggestion? A radical marketting technique designed to help China nation everywhere?
Oh — a word of explanation. It’s impossible to park where the decent Chinese restaurants are in my town, so, for the most part, to eat Chinese here is not an experience like it would be in New York City.
In NY they deliver! I NEVER go out for it!
Same here Mr_M. There’s nothing like Kung Pao Chicken at 2:00 am.
No, it doesn’t make me want Chinese food.
What they server here isn’t real “Chinese” food anyway. If I want that I’ll just have my girlfriend make dinner.
No, it makes me crave all the movies ever made by Zhang Yimo. And it makes me crave
groups of 2500 attractive men playing electified drums in unison. And groups of 2500 attractive men in electrified green leotards running in swirling patterns. And groups of 2000 TaiChi masters doing their thing in perfect circles even though, at least according to Bob
Costas, there were no marks on the floor to show them where the circles should be. Holy
f**k. Those people are smarter than we are, guys.
I have no idea if you were being sarcastic or serious.
Reeks of sarcasm to me. Delish!
Like Randy, I am always craving Asian food. but THIS Q has made me crave it only more. gee thanks Mr_M haha
Susanc is never sarcastic. Did you see this stuff? You must not have. It was exquisite
and powerful.
You know, China does a lot of terrible things, but this was just plain good art.
You don’t get it, PnL! Now I say “I’ll take you for Chinese, PnL!!” I get all my dates that way!!!
I read this whole thread again and UGH… I’m starving for some good Asian cuisine.
They have Chinese buffets in NY. Some are inferior to what you might get in a regular Chinese restaurant, others are REAL good. Are they in other states?
Yeah, i live in Arkansas and in my area, all we have is buffets. I have to drive about an hour or so to get “good” Chinese food.
mmm. i would really like some Thai Mango Chicken right now.
