Where can I get cheap home renters insurance , In Canada, for a short period of time?

I might go on vacation in another city for a week and I wonder if I can get temporary pipe bursts flood and fire insurance for less than $5,000 worth of assets? In Red Deer Alberta. Looking for less than $20 worth of insurance. I cancelled my $255 a year insurance because it was too expensive. Also where can I get cheap home renters insurance for less than $10 a month if I decide to renew my insurance?

From what little I know about insurance, it may cost you a lot more than $20 for a week if they would even write a one week policy (the paperwork for the policy and office are the up front costs like a third of the $255 from your cancelled policy).

Your question about a motorcycles should include the insurance and licensing fees which in the USA is hundreds if not thousands of dollars.
