I think it’s vital to have an overall general topic for the vlog. I don’t think it should be about anything and everything. Choose a general topic and stick to it.

Do you have a general topic? It would help us to know that. Your vlog might be about mechanical tools or winter sports or cooking Japanese-style curry or underwater basket weaving. We need to narrow it down.

BBQ cooking or DIY projects for home owners

@Hawaii_Jake I was thinking more on the lines of talking about what is occurring on each day. I might discuss what it has been like for me returning to vegetarianism, healthy eating, working out at the gym. Perhaps talk about my volunteering work.

@NerdyKeith That’s very helpful. Lifestyle is a good topic that allows you to branch out into many different interesting areas. You’ve mentioned 3 good ones to start with. Vegetarianism is huge. You can talk about the impact it has on the environment, and there are all the recipe ideas you can explore. Healthy eating seems like a tangent from vegetarianism. Exercise is also very good. There are so many ways to talk about the plethora of exercise opportunities all around us.

You can even go further with lifestyle. There’s fashion and fashion on a budget. You can talk about restaurants from high end to holes in the wall.

Relationships are a part of lifestyle. Meeting new people is often the topic of discussion online.
