Even though it sounds a little archaic, I use it all the time.
Yes, quite often. It is the perfect word in certain circumstances.
I have. It’s not a word I use all the time, but I do use it.
Yes, but usually only in formal writing, not in speech.
I do, but I would also say only in writing.
Yes. Not a lot, but it has a very distinct meaning.
Yes. I act in and direct Shakespeare. I use many uncommon words.
I would have thought @rockfan if as you say you use the word all the time you would have used it in place of “even though” in your opening answer.
@ucme albeit isn’t meant to be used in the opening of a sentence
rarely, but this little question has pulled the word up from dusty obscurity in our heads. I wonder if we will now find it popping up more frequently here.
I also like to use it when writing, but never in conversation.
It’s not a word I use although I have a wide vocabulary.
I don’t use it, but I don’t find it unusual when someone does.
It’s a useful little word that I use occasionally in everyday speech. Why should I not use it?
@rockfan Haha & yet you just did exactly that
@ucme
Didn’t use the word in its intended form though, I should have put quotation marks lol
Yes, on occasion. I may use it more when writing than speaking but I do employ it now and then.
