I was thinking of mixing lemon juice and apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle.
I’ve used Raid about three times now and I’m not too crazy about the smell or the toxic chemicals in it.
I’m looking for a more natual solution.
Has anyone used homemade bug killer spray?

For ants and roaches this will work:
Mix boric acid powder, sugar and water to create a boric acid insecticide spray. Use 2 tablespoons of boric acid and 2 cups of sugar for every 1 cup of water. The sugar will attract insect pests, including ants and cockroaches, while the soluble boric acid will kill them.
I have had ants in my kitchen lately and I spray then with a Lysol multi-purpose surface cleaner. Kills ‘em on contact and disinfects the counter top when I wipe up their mushy little carcasses with a paper towel. haha I spray and wipe the baseboards around the cupboards and the trash can too, works great, no poison and they are repelled by the smell.
Dawn detergent mixed with water will kill insects around the house and in the lawn, too.
I use dishsoap and water. Kills nearly on contact for ants, wasps and bees. Kills quickly other six and four legged critters.
The Facebook post using stale beer, Epson salts, and blue mouthwash works at repelling insects, but leaves a visible stain.
^^tried that for mosquitoes and it’s a bunch of baloney
You know, @AshlynM insects are God’s creatures too, and…...
(wait, no…..she won’t buy that….)
Listen, young lady…..bugs are people too, put on this Earth to…...
(oh, crap, even I’m not buyin’ that one)
That bug you’re killing might be some little bug’s mother !!
(oh, baby…....home run…...)
There are three ingredients that will do anything in a normal household
Water
Vinegar
Dawn
I would mix up a 3:1:1 mix of these and spray away
Thanks, I’ll try the Dawn mixture.
But then you have a sticky, soapy residue all over. More of a mess to clean up.
You only need a small amount of dish soap, just enough to break the surface tension of the water. Like a 20:1 ratio. Does not leave a sticky mess.
Bean leaves snare bed bugs. Place on floor of infested area, collect and burn the next day.
I hate stink bugs more than anything. We have only had them in our area for 2 years now so this really grosses me out. What I do, bc I don’t like flushing my toilet every 10 minutes I collect them in a baggie and put them in my freezer. They“re dead within the hour with no thought of returning. They survive water very well, I don’t want me to have any chance of returning.
