We know what happens when we consume too much fats, sugars, alcohol, etc.
But what happens when we eat too much vitamins?

For the water-soluble vitamins, you will pee out any excess. An overdose of fat-soluble vitamins is dangerous, though. These include vitamins A, D, E, and K. An overdose can cause all sorts of fun things like liver damage, nausea, dizziness, disorientation, etc.
You can overdose or get sick.
Too much iron will constipate you.
Too much vitamin D has skin complications.
There are risks of too much of any given substance.
I always thought it would make you faster than a locomotive…..or able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
But the above makes much more sense, Jimmy…..
Vitamin A overdose can cause all kinds of serious problems, like bone pain, blurry vision, bone swelling, nausea. That’s why it is better to get Vitamin A from natural food sources so that your body will only take in what it needs.
Niacin overdose will make your skin flush and itch, and make your heart beat fast.
Too much Vitamin C gives you stinky pee.
As stated above, overdosing fat soluble vitamins, A, D, E, and K is very dangerous and can cause permanent damage. K thickens the blood and can cause heart attack and stroke.
As to OTC herbs and drugs: St.John’s Wort and Aspirin have blood thinning effects and taking too much can cause problems on the operating table and in what otherwise would be minor accidents.
