Is there an app that will block all calls on your smart phone, except for those numbers in your contacts list?

I think I’ve asked this before, but since there are news apps being developed all the time, I think it’s time for an update.
I get at least 2 or 3 crank or spam calls every day on my mobile phone. I’m looking for an app that will automatically block all calls except for those numbers that I’ve specifically entered for my contacts in the Contacts app.
I’m currently using YouMail. It does an OK job, but it doesn’t exactly work the way I’ve described above. It blocks some calls (based on other criteria), but many calls still get through.

iPhone or android?
Iphone can do this easily:
“Use Do Not Disturb on your iPhone.
Tap Settings and then tap Do Not Disturb.
Tap “Allow Calls From” and select “All Contacts”.
Either turn Do Not Disturb on manually, or set the schedule to 24 hours. Do Not Disturb will now always only allow phone calls from your contacts.” From Wikihow
Here is an article about Androids. Scroll down to see the 6 apps they recommend which seem to do the job youdescribe
iPhone.
Ah, but will Do Not Disturb also block all Messages and Notifications? I may want some of these to come through. Also Reminders that I’ve set up for myself.
The WikiHow article talks about blocking “hidden numbers”, that is, when the callers do not reveal their number, or hide their number from being shown. In my case, the numbers are almost always shown, though I do realize that they’re probably fake numbers, and the problem is that the numbers keep changing all the time. So, it’s a big hassle to block them one by one.
The android apps are available for iPhone too.
On Android, it can be done in settings, such as:
SMS>Settings>More>Spam Message Settings
click Spam Settings
click Block Unknown Senders.
or
Settings>Device>Blocking Mode.
set time to Always
set Allowed Contacts to All Contacts.
@2davidc8 Yeah, just yesterday I was called by someone “returning my call”. I’ve placed such calls too, only to find the number was faked by some spam bot.
Thank you, @Stinley. I think I’ll give Call Control a try.
