From yesteryear to today, and if it is from the past it would be nice to have a link so we can view it.
Thanks and no right or wrong answers lets just all have a laugh.
Oh and please no movies with this one let us just stick to the small screen for now.

Plenty to choose from these days. I guess I give the crown to ”It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
Never heard of it @MrGrimm888 will I find it on you tube?
Myself from the past would have to be The Beverly Hill billies , from today would be the big bang theory.
Gosh. M*A*S*H, of course.
Carol Burnett, of course.
Laugh In of course.
Cheers, of course.
Friends, of course.
I can’t think of anything as good as any of those today.
None. They are all terrible.
@SQUEEKY2 . It’s originally on F/X I think. It can be seen on Hulu, and Netflix also. I’m sure there are at least clips on YouTube.
M*A*S*H, except for the preachy episodes. I know war is a horrible thing. I watch comedy for the escape and some laughs.
The Middle – I was kind of like Sue when I was in junior high, and Brick is adorable.
The Carol Burnett Show, The Big Bang Theory, Burns and Allen, WKRP in Cincinnati, Friends, and the first few seasons of Seinfeld.
The Carol Burnett Show. Never watched Mash or Seinfeld.
Currently ? Here is my list although a few of them aren’t technically sitcoms:
VEEP, Silicon Valley, Big Bang Theory, Fresh of the Boat, Blackish, Modern Family, The Goldbergs.
I loved watching “Everybody hates Chris”.
The Dick Van Dyke Show
Everybody Loves Raymond
All In the Family
Definitely Seinfeld, but Taxi, Arrested Development, The Simpsons, All in the Family and I Love Lucy are close behind.
I love all your answers people, some of those shows I had forgotten all about will have to revisit them.
All time: I Love Lucy
Now: Broad City
Is the Big Bang Theory good? The first time I landed on it I wad miffed that it wasn’t a science program so I’ve been pouting ever since.
What other sitcom would you compare it to?
All I can say @Dutchess_III is watch an episode and judge it yourself.
I really like it.
I watched some “funny” clips of that show.
On my list of unfunny dreck, this was right up there.
Yep, I’m with @SQUEEKY2 Beverly Hillbillies hands down, one of the funniest comedy concepts ever created of all time. After that I like Frasier, and Big Bang Theory too, though I am not a TV/ sit com watcher and hate most sit coms in general.
@SQUEEKY2 All in the Family, Happy Days. Loved Flip Wilson. Now Reba. Also loved the Smothers Brothers.
South Park (duh!)
M*A*S*H
Sports Night
Barney Miller
Sean Spicer’s press conferences.
The Big Bang Theory is probably the funniest (and consistently funny) show of all time.
Other very funny shows that I like are The Nanny, Frasier, Cheers, M*A*S*H, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Just Shoot Me, Cybill, Newsradio, Will and Grace, Rosanne, Grace Under Fire, Murphy Brown, Veronica’s Closet, Ugly Betty (Dramedy), The Bob Newhart Show, Newhart, Friends, Night Court, Kate and Allie, Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, Soap, and Happily Divorced.
WoW! Thanks @Kardamom I completely forgot about a few of those shows you listed,THANKS!
@SQUEEKY2 Yes, some of them are gems that the younger folks have never heard of.
Uggly Betty is a remake of a Colombian soap opera, Soy Betty la fea. It is the most successful telenovela in history, remade all over the world.
@SQUEEKY2 I forgot South Park, Will and Grace, The Nanny.
Omg! I can’t believe I forgot to mention Scrubs!
@SQUEEKY2 I can’t believe i forgot to mention Soap! Robert Guillaume was priceless!
And somehow The New Adventures of Old Christine slipped my mind too. One of the funniest ensemble casts ever.
Oh yeah^^^ That was a great show as well thanks @RedDeerGuy1 .
I also forgot to add Third Rock from The Sun.
As anyone who has even an ounce of good taste & common sense knows, the greatest is…
Fawlty Towers
game over
Oh I forgot about Darma and Greg.
Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I watched it all the time before and own all seasons on box sets currently. It had pretty bold and original subject matter at the time, especially being for a younger audience. I’ve tried watching some of the classics like Seinfeld, Cheers or Married with Children, not my thing at all. I did like Soap for the idea behind the show, but it isn’t really that funny.
