So, Trump fired Priebus on Twitter. Do you think his staff is relieved when they get fired?
The man is crazy! I wouldn’t want to work for him. But…I would also like to stay close to effect some damage control if possible, out of concern for the nation.
What do you think?

Getting out while the getting out is still fairly good? I think there would be some relief.
“But…I would also like to stay close to effect some damage control if possible, out of concern for the nation.” You are not in control and you’d be Tweeted in to another career for trying to control.
3 and a half more years of running a the GREAT country into the ground using Twitter.
Oddly, it is Trump who is dismantling the GOP.
Take a Republican with power, plug him into your administration, berate him and fire him.
Don’t you think Jeff Sessions wishes he was back in the Senate?
Just because you’re a ““f***ing paranoid schizophrenic” doesn’t mean that Trump isn’t out to get you.
I don’t know about relieved but I’m sure some of them wish he never offered the job in the first place if he never intended to take their advice. He hires them and then neuters them and then tosses them out with the trash. There should be a betting pool.
I predict, Session’s is forced to quit next week.
Bannon shuts up and plans his revenge quietly on Mooch,
Mooch gets too much attention and like a moth to flame, he burns out.
Sara Huckabee goes on suicide watch. (just kidding)
And Tillerson also quits. Probably right after Sessions.
Do you actually think he can go the distance? Can he fire his way to a stable Presidency? He’s like a maniacal arsonist vigorously torching everything in sight, while loudly bemoaning the incompetence of the fire department. Working for Trump is equivalent to being a German general in 1945. “My officers all fail me.” In the end that populist died complaining bitterly that “the German people failed me, and are getting what they deserve.” The unspoken topic looms in our future regarding the distribution of cards in our President’s mental deck. The point will come when what most of us are thinking will be forced into the open. HE will force it!
Wow, @Pandora. I’ll be interested to see if that pans out in the next month.
Has anything like this ever happened before? Sure, Presidents bring in their own people, but it’s done in a controlled manner, and not by tweets! It’s like watching “The Apprentice” play out in the White House.
I hope so @stanleybmanly.
@Dutchess_III Mooch may hang onto September. I just read his wife put in for a divorce. She says his ambitions is just too much. He didn’t even straight up fire Prebius. He sent out a tweet about his replacement and then Prebius put in his resignation. Then Trump said Prebius was a great guy and they did so much together. This guy really is unbalanced. He want’s to screw people over and then doesn’t want any hard feelings about it.
And he does this on TWITTER. That so blows my mind.
@Dutchess_III I meant the President fired Priebus on twitter. Not Mooch. But and Priebus goes out on the tarmac to bid adieu. Really feels like a fake reality show.
On the one hand I am scared we do not have a functioning White House. On the other hand I am pretty happy it is this group of clowns that can’t manage to have a functioning White House.
The old “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In” show could never hold a candle to “The Donald Trump Show.”
Laugh In was hilarious (Goldie Hawn “Fire fire fire!”). The Trump Show would be too….if it was a deliberate joke .
Would you be relieved if you lost your job. Via frikkin Twitter?
I know it’s cool to shit on Trump and act like you’re all better than him, but use your heads a bit, will ya?
It would depend on how miserable my boss had made my job up to that point @Sneki2
A job is a job. Getting fired is never revealing, especially not if you don’t have any other option to earn money asap.
No matter how shitty jour boss is, it’s because of him you can eat today.
Trump and the networks are really missing a sure thing by not making a reality TV spectacle where he gets to yell “yoo’r fired!” at someone every day.
@Sneki2 Contrary to the “man of the people’s” promise, the folks he hires to fire in the main don’t need or miss the money!! Funny how that works. A cabinet full of billionaires from Goldman Sachs is supposed to “drain the swamp.”
Well. Isn’t this just another example of Trump’s poor judgement? He is the one who picked all these people, and yet only 6 months into the job they’re SO bad they deserve termination?
I personally enjoy this chaos. To me it speaks volumes of how ridiculous this presidency is. I know Trump’s supporters are too stupid to see it, but I hope it exposes why this shouldn’t happen again. My hopes are that Trump himself is fired soon. Maybe not soon. I’d prefer to watch him age at light speed whilst testifying at many of his hearings…
Don’t listen to Crooked Dutchess folks, this is just another fake question from a fake discussion board. Tweet, retweet, move on, nothing to see here. Tweety Bird, Sylvester. Retweet.
Crooked Dutchess. I love it!
Dutchess for Jail! Or president. Which would y’all prefer?
@Dutchess_III Prez, of course! Long as you are open minded and liberal. Was only kidding about you being crooked
; )
By the way, maroons are great Prez material. Look at our current pResident.
Oh, I know you were kidding @NomoreY_A! It’s all good.
Now, excuse while I go delete several email accounts.
Oakie Dokie Smokey… later.
