What new release movies have you seen this year?

Spiderman Reboot 2: 8/10

None. Watching movies recently became a chore to keep up to date. So I quit.

I saw Wonder Woman today.

Hidden figures. Excellent movie! Was that released this year?

Loved “Get out.” Otherwise, saw Beauty and the Beast and the new Despicable Me a few weeks ago and The Secret Life of Pets with my little 10 year old friend.

The two most recent movies I’ve seen were Valerian and Dunkirk. They couldn’t be more different but I loved both for very different reasons.

Since the start of the year, I’ve seen the following.

Despicable Me3 -10 (I have really enjoyed all of these, including the separate Minions movie).

Pirates of the Caribbean-7 (I didn’t care for the others, went with a friend who wanted to see it, and enjoyed it a lot).

Power Rangers-6 (I went to this to be a good aunt, and was pleasantly surprised).

I see 45–80 movies each month.
I will say the best movies of this year are Dunkirk, Get Out, and Logan. Spiderman Homecoming was good.

I’ve not seen a whole lot of movies this year. I saw Fences, Manchester by the Sea, Despicable Me 3 and Maudie. I saw Despicable Me 3 with my daughter at a movie birthday party, otherwise it’s not something I’d ever see on my own. I really liked the other three movies.

I’d like to see Dunkirk. It’s just a matter of finding the time.
