Have you ever played a character with a prime requisite as normal, or average?
Like a wizard with an int of 9? What would the benefit of leveling up? humor and serious answers welcome. I did a online test and I said that I have an intelligence of 9 out of 18. So I wonder what it would be like playing a lv 20 wizard with 9 int.?

One would be silly playing a wizard with an Int of 9 unless you wanted to do it for the hilarity of it. It would be like playing a melee fighter with a strength of 9, or a rogue with a dex of 9.
I would do it for fun. It would role play it as becuase of pressures form parents and siblings to be a wizard. Sort of pressures nowadays to get a dregree and a profession. Even though you can’t succed. ~sounds like my life.
I think it would be more fun to play a fighter with low strength or a rogue with low dex. The problem with the wizard idea is that you run out of spells quickly and then you are just a target.
The most fun, though, would be a bard with low charisma. Then during your game you could sing out of key.
I tend to prefer TFT & GURPS, where there are no classes or levels so attributes and skills determine your abilities, and usually characters are designed with points rather than rolled up. And yes, ironic and unusual characters can be a lot of fun to play.
For example, there was a brutish hobgoblin apprentice who knew few spells and wasn’t very good with them, but he had a lot of strength to use to aid other wizards (the magic system is based on energy points derived from strength).
