What are some fun things to do when bored?

Things I like to do:

Watch a movie/videos.
Bake some cookies or make something good to eat, try a new recipe.
Re-arrange your house/room.
Call a friend to talk.
Draw, paint, play with clay.
Go out for a walk or bike ride.
Go swimming somewhere, the public pool or a friends or at home if you have a pool.
Go out to a movie.

Depends on your age/gender and interests.

I was bored in a long meeting the other day and so I played “Date, fuck, kill.” LOL.

@jca Never heard of that one, is it your own made up game? Date ‘em fuck’em and kill them? LOL

Sort and reorganize your underwear drawer. If you’re still bored and have more time on your hands, do the same thing for your linen closet.

You’ll feel great about what you’ve achieved, and the time will have passed very quickly.

After you’re done, please come to my house and tackle my refrigerator. (This is actually on my To-Do list for tomorrow.)

Buy a colouring book for adults, and a package of colouring pencils. You’re in for a lot of fun.

You can also try drawing mandalas. It’s really addictive, time flies when you get focused in your work.

If you’re more into reading than drawing, go to Tv Tropes. It will eat your next fifteen hours.

Think of an actor, then go on imdb, and simply click on links to get to him or her. Try to do it in under 10 clicks.

I listen to Coast to Coast or Darkness Radio. It’s fascinating stuff, especially when they have demon exorcists who don’t know how to answer anything. However it is not fascinating enough that I take time out of masturbation to listen to this.

This question is too general. We don’t know much about you or what you like. Things we like can be too boring for you.

But from what your username seems to imply, I suggest checking mydramalist.com for new Korean drama to watch, or going to Youtube to see if your favorite girl band has released any new MV or attended any new reality show.

I pretty much never get bored. I’m interested in doing all kinds of things, including stuff that other people have no interest in, and I don’t mind doing things alone.

That being said, I like:

ice skating (which I did today)

taking photographs, which I do almost every day

Writing restaurant reviews on Trip Advisor

Making artwork: drawings, paintings, sculptural thingees, collage, jewelry, mosaic

Cooking, reading about cooking, writing stuff about cooking, looking at cooking stuff in stores and online, looking for cooking tools and gadgets and pots and pans at thrift stores

Going to thrift stores

Reading books (real books, not e-readers or Kindle or that kind of thing)

Fluthering

Looking at Pinterest

Playing with dogs and cats

Sitting quietly and drinking tea

Reading magazines (mostly cooking and home improvement magazines)

Watching Netflix

Watching home improvement shows on TV (especially House Hunters, Love it or List It, and Property Brothers)

Watching cooking shows, and food related shows on TV

Listening to music

Looking at ice skating videos on Youtube

Working on my Christmas lists (I do that year round)

Looking at Facebook

Walking (especially in wooded areas, or by the lake, and at the beach) sometimes with a friend, and sometimes by myself

Meeting up with friends

Walking around in Target (not necessarily buying anything)

Taking a drive, looking for interesting things to photograph

Going to the movies with friends (or by myself and indulging in nachos, which I would never do if anyone I knew was there to see me eating that)

Planning my next vacation

Stalk a total stranger.
Pick up garbage someplace.
Take an online survey.
See how many pages of the Bible you can read (start at the beginning) before you start skipping the begets.
Put an orphan sock over your hand, and do your own puppet show.
Find someone who is mobility challenged, and offer to do some stuff around their yard/house.
Find out how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.
Write a poem about bugs.

Take a hot shower.

I routinely lob M&M’s (other candy treats available) from my bedroom window onto the soft heads of passers by.
After a short while this too can get boring & so then I throw pans & sometimes cutlery.
