What does this dream mean?

Asked by Anonymous05 (185points) August 23rd, 2017 from iPhone

I had a dream I was in my car at a jewel (grocery store) parking lot. My mom was in the store shopping, I was driving and looking for a place to park, then two guys came up to my car as I was slowly driving through the parking lot, so I rolled down my windows and they tried to get it and get me out of my car, but I faught then off. When my mom cane back, I had told her that I just been attacked and she said, “That’s because your always too nice and talk to people, your so vulnerable.” Then I parked the car and my mom went back in the store, I fallowed behind her as I was crying and my make-up was all smeared.

I always love to interprete dreams as best as I can.

This is nature’s way of telling you not to roll down your window for every Tom, Dick and Herschel who walks by…..

One of two things: either you’re always too nice and talk to people, you are so vulnerable. OR your mother doesn’t love you.

Go to dream dictionary, type stuff you dreamt (cars, drivng, attack, mothers, etc), see what it says, and try to figure it out.

You fear that you are too friendly, too outgoing to strangers, and that your mother has told you how to behave, but you don’t. And you fear that your actions, however much you like being outgoing, may bring you harm, and that you (your conscience telling you here) should seriously heed your mother’s warnings.

(Deciphering dreams is easy. Just “read between the lines.” Don’t try to understand every little item your sub conscious is throwing into the dream for effect.)

From Dream Moods”: To dream that you are being attacked by someone indicates your character is being questioned. You feel the need to defend yourself. You are feeling stressed, vulnerable and helpless. You may also be facing difficult changes in your waking life. Dreaming of an attack provides a way for you to confront these situations that you may be avoiding in real life”

In dream symbolism, confrontation, jewelry, and your mother all represent death.

Earlier in the day did something happen that made you feel vulnerable ?
Did something you expected to be harmless turn out a bit harsh?
Dreams often help digest unresolved emotion from the day.

You’re probably feeling stressed and/or vulnerable right now or you were sometime this week. You also may not have such a great relationship with your mother. Or something in the future that you expect to be harmless will turn out to be disastrous. If any of these answers are applicable to you or your friends and family, you may want to go to a therapist or someone who’d be able to help you through a hard time. Or if it’s another person you’re suspecting is having difficulty with their lives, encourage them to seek help as well. It would be another person only if you yourself are empathetic/sympathetic/thoughtful.

It may mean that your father never loved you.
Or it could mean you should sell your stock in Jewel-Osco

It may or may not mean that you should get a car without windows, like a twizy or something.

From 2013 to 2015, I often dreamed about many strange and logical things. Every time I dreamed about them, I wrote it down, as I always remembered the story and its details. Every time I would spent one or two thousand words to finish the dream record. However, this situation has gone since the year of 2015, when my life was no more stressful and suck. So, trust me, the meaning of your dream does not matter. You should find out what confuse and stress you in your daily life.

Dreams don’t have any inherent meaning. You have been stressed out about some things lately, so it follows that you will have unpleasant dreams.

Hormonal changes can also cause people to have bad dreams, as can eating spicy food late at night right before you go to sleep, and of course stress is probably the biggest cause of bad dreams, but the dreams don’t have any actual meaning.

Good dreams and bad dreams will most likely contain bits and pieces from your real life, even if they aren’t direct re-tellings of things that have happened. They definitely aren’t visions of the future. It’s just your brain chemicals doing what they do.
