I say let them bee.

But if you mean wasps who have become aggressive in the doorway of my garage, I recently brought one hive completely equal rights, and I did have a detailed strategy, which worked almost flawlessly. It involved:

* mixing all the biodegradable soap and essential oil products in dense solution of water,
* sawing a plastic bottle in half, inventing and
* creating an improvised suit of anti-wasp armor with 100% surface protection and yet visibility (face-sized strainer held in place by hood with drawstring),
* a large ancestral butcher knife,
* a nighttime attack schedule, and
* sudden immersion of the hive in aforementioned environmentally responsible but deadly soap solution (which killed all but one on contact, I like to think instantly and painlessly),
* slicing of hive stem with ancestral butcher knife,
* and covering of hive/bottle with other bottle half and plastic knife, and leaving overnight just in case.

This invasion will only be successful if the bees themselves want a new leader. Otherwise it is regime change for the sake of regime change, but the fundamental issues in the colony will remain.

If a democratic regime is not what the bees want, then the ringleaders will suffer a stinging defeat.

I would replace the Queen Bee with myself, Queen Lori. Then, under my absolute monarchy, I’d…

Oh, wait. You said “democracy,” right?

I would bribe them with easy access to sugar! They’d be honey putty in my hands after that…

I would whisper to one bee that all of the other bees are talking about him (or her….what the hell do I know ?) behind his back. But don’t tell the others that you know. As always, bees begin buzzing, while I just stand back and watch insect-chaos ensue.

When they’re all tired-out, I tell them that the bees over there are possibly hiding HMD. (Honey of Mass Destruction)

They all immediately sharpen their stingers, salute, and ask me what to do next….

I would bomb the shit out of bee weddings. Maybe a drone strike where you think you are hitting the queen. Oops.. That was a elementary school.

And yeah. Fuck Obama.

You have to win the hearts , and minds of the population…

Love the question…

Bees are too stupid. It won’t work. Just take the honey.

You’re a ‘Trump Guy’, aren’t you, @josie ??

(Go ahead….you can say it….)

@PullMyFinger

If I had a ‘Guy’ at all, it wouldn’t be Trump. But I don’t have a ‘Guy’.

Fair enough….

@josie My lame attempt at a fun-but-snarky remark obviously does not translate too well in the context of written words only.

I like you, and sincerely apologize….

People think they’re so superior to animals because it is easy to kill them, capture them amd force them to act in certain ways by exploiting their survival instincts. However, besides such rudimentary methods you will never make an animal or an insect understand that you are superior to it. You certainly cannot force them to adopt man made structures…they will fight, flee or die.

Before Democracy can be achieved Tyranny should be applied first, it’s a necessary rule of conduct in this situation. I’ll spread this mind controlling fungus that has been scientifically tailored for bee, and since bee and ants shared a closely-related common ancestor that would work really well. The next step is to allow the Genocide to happen but spare all the bee larvae, as the entire mature bees die so will their absolute Matriachy, the rest is to hand raise the larvae and shape their thinking the way you desire.

Bees already work as slaves for their Queen and almost everything produced is taken from the hive to be consumed elsewhere by others. This is democracy American style which has copious amounts of capitalism thrown in. How can we bring them democracy when they already have it?

Hover my drone above until they worshipped the King Bee.

As long as they didn’t threaten or bother me, I’d leave them alone and let them do what they need to do. We’ll all get alone fine if i stay here and they stay there.
But, I would be prepared to completely annihilate the entire colony if even one of them stung me or entered my abode. There would be no survivors left to carry grudges or plan counterattacks.

I keep several cans of Spectracide Pro Wasp and Hornet spray in the basement so they’re ready at a moment’s notice.
