I heard some people talking about it on the radio and they said it was very scary. Scarier than the movie “IT” which is out now. I haven’t seen either.

I hate Horror movies on the best of days, and shitty doll movies can go burn in a fire.
No, dolls are creepy and I hate them. Clowns are creepy too but for some reason, I do like It, the original movie.
No, but my daughter and I want to see “It.” I like horror films, if they are well done. Haven’t researched Annabelle though.
I saw the first Annabelle, which was awful. But the sequel actually looks decent, I’ll check it out when it goes to Netflix
I saw it, pretty mediocre as “doll” movies go. There wasn’t anything much scary about it but you probably should not consider my opinion as I have seen tons of horror movies, they don’t have much effect on me.
Scarier than IT? Haven’t seen IT yet. It’s entirely possible, but while I understand that horror uses very defined formulas for the “fear factor” and rarely stray too far from the norm, “scary” is relative.
Ew no! I want to watch NOVA.
@Dutchess_III I like NOVA too, and horror flicks and all sorts of history and science and nature and subtitled foreign films and oldies and, and, and… Diversity right?
Annabelle Creation has the doll as a real girl…just sayin :D
Me & my daughter are going to see IT next Friday…beep beep!!
richie
IT’s floatin’ time!
I’ve not heard of it. The scariest movie I ever saw was Paranormal Activity.
It was all suspense! You never saw anything, but you imagined much!
I would rather watch Carpenter’s “The Thing”.
We’ve only just begun…..
That reminds me @Kardamom. Rick and I often don’t agree on what to watch on TV and he tends to be the one to get upset so I’m just like, “Whatever.”
The other day he landed on “Paranormal Something.”
He said “How about this?”
I shrugged and said, “That’s fine.”
He said, “Don’t do that! Is this something you’re interested in??”
I took a chance and told the truth. I said, “Well, don’t believe in ghosts so…”
Yep, he got mad.
I give up. I really do.
lol no. Annabelle is my actual name. Well at least I can leave behind the old school yard taunt: “Annabelle needs a new muffler” (an old Canadian repair shop commercial).
The trailers for the first Annabelle movie made my family and I laugh uproariously.
I took our youngest son and we enjoyed it. It wasn’t great but I didn’t feel like we wasted money. It was good enough.
Forgot to update, IT was very good as good as Tim Curry was in the original Bill Skarsgard betters that performance look forward to volume II now
Nice. Is IT faithful to the original movie? And the novel, if you’ve read IT?
Never read the book but IT pretty much sticks to the heart of the original. The opening scene where Georgie is killed is way more in your face, get to see his arm bitten off & shit. Funny thing though Beverley is my fave loser club member in this one but I hated her in the original.
She’s so much more sassy & spunky here.
Haha cool, can’t wait to see it. Yeah I guess Bev is a pushover in the original, but with the dad she has, might be expected. (she’s actually a lot tougher in the book, plus she smokes cigarettes that she steals from her dad lol) How much of a prick is he in this one? What about Bowers and his buddies, what are they like?
Well, there is no gangbang scene in this movie.
@Berserker Yeah she kicks arse kills the creepy fucker when she twats him over the head & Bowers kills his old man too stabs him through the neck while he sleeps…fuck i’m spoiling it aren’t I? :D
Lol no, all that happens in the book anyway. :D I’m just dying to see what they added in this that wasn’t in the original movie.
The movie’s out but it’s taking PlayStation Network YEARS to have it. Pissin me off.
Haha might have guessed all that was in the book so yeah no spoiler here :D
I was the same wondered what they added from the original liked that previous victims were left floating in the air down in the sewer made more sense of the ”they all float down here” line, keeps them undead coz they taste better when scared.
I haven’t read the book yet but I hope to before the second chapter. Jon has read everything by King and he loved this version of It. We watched It last weekend. It wasn’t exactly by the book but it was good enough.
