Anyone fancy being a writing buddy?
I know we have some professional writers here. Does anyone fancy being an online writing buddy? I’m thinking we could check in to help motivate each other to keep writing or chastise each other when we don’t write. Really just acting as a support partner to keep us producing.
I’d prefer it be someone who writes professionally or as a serious part of their life. I have to write for my work, so I have to turn up and write each day.

Could you give me a bit more information about it? Like how it is operated or what kind of work we are expected to do specifically?
Like said above what is it that you have to write everyday? Is it some mundane stuff or needs some creativity too? Im not professional writer but can give you some ideas if possible..)

@UzZiBiKeR, @imrainmaker, @Mimishu1995, I’m a professional writer. I don’t need help with how to write. Sometimes, it can be hard to sustain the motivation to write and working with other writers can help to provide support and encouragement. It should work as a two-way (or more way) street. When they’re battling with writer’s block, I can help them. On days when I’m struggling to get going, they can give me a kick up the butt!
That’s why I’m looking for other professional writers to work with. I have a few projects I’m already working on – including writing a book. I don’t need help with editing or proof reading. If I do need that kind of assistance, I have people I can go to.

I’m thinking of some people here I can suggest this to…
And beside, I’m in no way a professional writer, but I’m planning to write something too and it would be great if I had someone to provide support :)
I can’t call myself professional yet.
I am stymied by how to market my work.
I thought for a while I would use an e publisher which takes all indies, and writer keeps about 90%, but I don’t know how much readership it gets.
Everywhere I turn for an agent the listing says, “Not currently accepting any new clients.”
I can’t afford to pay to self publish.
I have a good fiction piece I wish I could start off in the UK, because I think the market there would give it its best start. But, in regards to international marketing I am even more clueless.
I feel like the more I check into stuff, the more confused I get.
Meanwhile, I have stories, and new ideas just piling up.
>Hair pulling now.<

@Earthbound_Misfit, I’ve written all my life—at newspapers, magazines, ad agencies, and for personal creative expression. And if there’s one thing I’ve learned about myself it’s I tend to thrive creatively when I’m associated with other writers… and with deadlines.
Some of my most satisfying and perhaps best writing was during the semesters I attended a university writing course, taught by a professional writer. I was in my 50s at the time and working full-time as an ad writer, yet surrounded by young college kids, I found that despite my age and experience I learned a lot from them.
To reiterate, I’m in, and I hope others will join, too. Kudos to you for reaching out.
I love writing-as a job or as a hobby. Do respond so we can talk details.
