Fantasy Football
My son wants to trade Amari Cooper and Alex Smith for my Drew Brees. My son is in 1st place in our league and I’m in 5th.
Is he trying to take advantage of me? Is this a fair trade? This is my 2nd year owning Brees and he’s done very well for me.
Humor welcome.
Advice welcome.
I have a terrible toothache so I need some cheer.

I don’t understand what Fantasy Football is, exactly. It seems like Dungeons and Dragons for jocks, or maybe that’s just what I want to believe. Can I play Fantasy Baseball and make Javy a sorcerer and Kris and Anthony rangers? Wade Davis would have to be a Paladin.
There is fantasy baseball but I don’t know how to keep up with that since there are so many games. I poo pooed fantasy football until 3 years ago and now I love it. I’m no jock but I like the game and I like the strategy involved in picking the right players. :)
I have just started watching the tv series The League. Hysterically funny.
Make the trade, but also ask for naming rights for his next child.
I had a fantasy football crush on Tyreek Hill. He is a joy to watch when he runs. I just love athletic people and he’s one of the best. But then I learned he was dismissed from Oklahoma state after he was charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation, to which he plead guilty. I kicked his sorry fantasy ass right out of my heart.
BUT to answer your pressing question, of course he’s taking advantage of his sweet mother! Duh! That’s what kids do! How else are they supposed to survive their childhood?
I kept Brees and he gave me 53 points.
Our son visited Saturday evening. He had his first hangover thanks to his 5 yr high school reunion. I felt so bad for him because he rarely drinks. We fed him and he took a nap. Of course Jon had to bring up that he did this for sympathy so I’d make the trade. ;)
