What Pink Floyd album should i get next?

Meddle.

Give Animals a try. From what I see on your last.fm playlist, you’d probably enjoy it. Besides, it’s probably also their fourth most popular album behind those three.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn – some of the early Syd Barrett stuff is just too good. Also if you are a hardcore fan, i would recommend A Tree Full of Secrets but mind you its 18 disks

Piper is a great album, but it’s a totally different style than the three albums mentioned up there.
@wilhel: If you want more of the “classic Floyd” sound, I’d recommend Animals. If you want to branch out into a different, slightly more obscure and incredibly amazing Floyd sound, I’d recommend Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

I’m going with Meddle as well. But I’ll be perfectly honest and say I don’t listen to anything outside of The Wall or Darkside of the Moon.

Ok, so far it’s a tie between piper and meddle. One more opinion? just so i can decide?

If you like Meddle a lot better than Animals, then I bet you’ll like Obscured By Clouds more than Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

I don’t think he tried Animals – I think he tried Meddle and Piper.

I didn’t try animals, but i have allready decided that when i’m getting to know meddle a little more, i’ll try that one.

Meddle is an amazing album that is an obvious next step. it is not as popular or mainstream as the others listed but it is amazing! its definitely an album that grows with age and repeated listens.

I already fell in love with meddle :)

i own wish y ou were here but it just doesnt make it into my rotation often…not really sure why.
