Has anyone on here successfully quit (his/her) Xanax (addiction)

I understand this is a very personal subject to discuss/open up about online, so I’m fully aware that not everybody who did successfully do so, will respond.
In case you do answer; thanks a bunch in advance.
My reasoning for asking is general, and for future reference {possibly).
If I may: for how long were you taking it, was it prescribed, what was your daily intake (in mg), and what was your strategy to reduce and finally, quit them?
