Jeopardy is a test of knowledge. I used to be more impressed than I am now since there are prep books; that somewhat narrows down the massive body of information.

It’s not a reality show tho as some one pointed out to me.
I think it’s more than simple memorized knowledge. They study a great deal of subject matter. When they’re asked a question that they don’t have memorized they have to quicky pull scraps of knowledge to make a well educated guess. That takes intelligence.
