Do you think Caroline Kennedy could be president in 2021 or 2025?

I heard she is going to run for senate, but it got me thinking that maybe she could go straight for president.

I doubt if she could pull it off. She would go a lot further and faster were she a conservative. The conservative roster is one place where vacuous celebrity is apparently an irresistible attribute.
No, that is Drumpf’s second term.
I’m more in favor of Joseph Kennedy III who is making wonderful speeches as a Congressman from Massachusetts.
No. All she has is her name. Being an ambassador is no preparation for anything like running a country. I’d much rather have someone who has some experience at running a state or a something similar.
Kennedy may be smart and rich, but she isn’t a leader.
@janbb beat me to it – I’ve been saying for ages we need another Kennedy and Joe is every bit Bobby reincarnate. I’d love to see him on a ballot.
How about two Joes – Biden for Pres and Kennedy for VP this time?
I think Biden is burdensome for Republicans who have mostly come to their senses about Trump. He’s too closely affiliated with Obama.
If we’re going to be united as Team Not Trump, we need someone under the D flag that is not at ALL tainted by Obama or Clinton.
@Muad_Dib Interesting. My very first choice would be Warren but I don’t think she would be elected. I thought Biden would have the Uncle Joe folksy appeal but I take your point.
I am fully prepared to vote for and champion the “lesser of two evils” after seeing what the greater of two evils has done.
Way back in 2008, she tested the waters to run for Hillary Clinton’s vacated seat in the U.S. Senate. Her efforts were preliminary yet disastrous; if you search YouTube for “caroline kennedy”+“you know,” you’ll see some very cringe-worthy clips. She suddenly dropped-out and cited personal reasons.
She’s lived a very private life as a wife, mother, and author. She doesn’t seem suited to elected politics, nor does she have any background other than her family.
I hope not. I don’t think she’s qualified. People getting elected solely on name recognition makes me very pessimistic about our future.
Not that I can get much more pessimistic.
I’m not in favor of dynasties in elective office.
I hope I don’t live long enough to see another Trump set her sights on the White House.
Not without better preparation than she had in her senate bid.
When being interviewed, she used the word “like” in, like every sentence, and sometimes she would, like, use it several times.
^^^ “You know…you know…you know…you know…”
It was painful to hear.
^^^ought to leave the young thing alone.
@Dutchess_III That’s a musical reference to the song “Ain’t No Sunshine”
Oh. I didn’t see that. I just answered the question.
