You can with a stove top espresso pot, like a Bialetti
You can use a moka pot on your stove. It’s similar but not exactly the same as coffee made with an espresso machine as it’s produced under lower pressure do not a true espresso. It tends to be stronger flavoured and have more caffeine but less likely to have the foam cream on the surface (at least in my experience).
Yeah I make it with a stove espresso pot all the time. I’m against Nestle so not going to be using a Nespresso machine.
I have a small pot that when it boils water it forces the water through the grounds and into an upper chamber where you can just pour the esspresso out. It’s about the size of two coffee cups stacked together. They still make them
Thanks for your replies. I didn’t know that they made those kinds of pots.
For a clear and concise explanation of how to use the stovetop espresso this is a good video ”:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q0mBPZwxGR8”
I’ve forgotten how to link videos?
@Adagio are you posting from safari on iOS 11? I’ve noticed since I updated that the links and emphasis don’t display properly.
