Trump has announced he will release the classified files of the death of John F. Kennedy. Will this bring out the nuts or will it answer questions?

A good idea. I’ve seen the film of the shot that Kennedy took to the head, and from what I know about gunshots hitting soft targets, the shot came from in front of the limo.
I am sure all the necessary secrets have been destroyed long ago.
Or maybe there were no unnecessary secrets.
The shot DID come from the front of the limo @kritiper. The bullet hit his his forehead and blew his brains out at the back.
That’s what the video shows.
It’s about time. It has been more than 50 years since the assassination. Maybe now we’ll get some truth.
The answer is of course that it will both bring out the nuts and answer some questions. The BIG question will almost certainly remain unresolved. No documentation clearing that one up will ever see the light of day if it existed at all.
Trump isn’t releasing shit. These documents have been scheduled to be released on the upcoming date for like 25 years. He’s claiming credit for something that he had absolutely nothing to do with.
As @Darth_Algar wrote, this has nothing to do with the clown Trump. It’s just the scheduled release date.
First off, Trump is not releasing them. They are scheduled for release. All he is doing is nothing to stop it.
Secondly, Sure, why not, they should have been released decades ago.
@Dutchess_III according to the report, the shot came from behind Kennedy, bent at some wildly improbably angles and hit Connolly as well
“According to the single-bullet theory, a three-centimeter (1.2″)-long copper-jacketed lead-core 6.5×52mm Mannlicher–Carcano rifle bullet fired from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository passed through President Kennedy’s neck and Governor Connally’s chest and wrist and embedded itself in the Governor’s thigh. If so, this bullet traversed 15 layers of clothing, 7 layers of skin, and approximately 15 inches of tissue, struck a necktie knot, removed 4 inches of rib, and shattered a radius bone. The bullet was found on a gurney in the corridor at the Parkland Memorial Hospital, in Dallas, after the assassination. The Warren Commission found that this gurney was the one that had borne Governor Connally.[3] This bullet became a key Commission exhibit. Its copper jacket was completely intact. While the bullet’s nose appeared normal, the tail was compressed laterally on one side.”
Improbable? Yes, but for most easier to believe than there was a conspiracy to kill a US President.
All Bullshit? Very likely.
I think they should be released, but this is a poor time to do it. Truth has taken such a beating lately that it’s hard to consider any source reliable. No matter what the reports say, there’ll be distortions, misrepresentations, deniers, deniers of deniers, nutty claims, and a fresh lot of conspiracy theories (not to mention the inevitable attempts by somebody to make money from them). Not knowing whom to trust or what to believe, I don’t think we’re going to learn anything real from them at this point.
Congress ruled in 1992 that all JFK documents should be released within 25 years. Trump can decide whether to allow the release in full or with redactions. I think giving this power to a man like Trump is a mistake but that’s another issue.
At this point, no one expects the government to release a document that shows the CIA set up Oswald to take the fall for killing JFK.
What these documents may show are things like:
1) How we spied on the Russian embassy in Mexico.
2) How we monitored Cubans in the United States.
3) Secret agreements between LBJ and Earl Warren.
Its all a dog and pony show to diistract attention from more immediate issues.
The release was already scheduled; he is simply not going to block it. Of course it’s a good idea. With the last release we got enough to satisfy our suspicion that Oswalt was a patsy.
@Dutchess_III @kritiper Yep you guys are right! Final head shot from the front, which is obvious. That is what Jacky O. is going for to the back of the limo is part of JFK’s skull. Simple physics “back and to the left” opposite and equal reaction, shot came from the front and to the right.
