What would you say to someone who had 10 seconds left to climb a 15 foot rope to finish an obstacle course?
So my friend was in this position… he barely ran out of time…

“I’m setting fire to the bottom of this rope. The fire will engulf the entire rope within 11 seconds.”
I would say ,“Jump”.
Then he would riposte,“How high”?
“Get up here, fat boy! Quickly! Move it on! Move it on, Pyle! Move it on! You climb obstacles like old people fuck. Do you know that, Private Pyle? Get up here; you’re too slow! Move it, move it! Private Pyle, whatever you do, don’t fall down. That would break my fucking heart! Quickly! Up and over. Up and over! Well, what the fuck are you waiting for, Private Pyle?! Get up and over! Move it! Move it! Move it! Are you quitting on me?! Well, are you?! Then quit, you slimy fucking walrus-looking piece of shit! Get the fuck off of my obstacle! Get the fuck down off of my obstacle! Now! Move it! I’m gonna rip your balls off so you cannot contaminate the rest of the world! I will motivate you, Private Pyle, if it short-dicks every cannibal on the Congo”
Do you mean at the time, for encouragement, or after, for consolation?
If you are looking to cheer up a bummed out friend, then there isn’t much to say that will help. Nothing you say can change what already is. Just be a friend, keep things fun, and the bumout will pass.
10…9… 8… Come on! You can do it! 6… 5…
10 seconds is plenty of time. I’d just yell “Move!”
You got all the time in the world take it easy & bring it home
I hope you have a rocket up your a**.
