Is it just me or do others find head banger music soothing?

Soothing no, but it can pump me up for the gym.

There are certain bands that help me down from a rage-fest, and others whose music is so aurally complicated that I actually get tired after listening to it for a while.

I can’t listen to Nile in the car. LOVE the band. Absolutely love them. In small doses. Any more than a few tracks at once will put me to sleep.

Yes, hard rock calms me down and puts me in a good mood.

Are their heavy metal or headbangers with female lead singers? Other than Pussy Riot? Would be hot.

There are shit tons of metal bands with female vocalists, female guitarists, bassists, drummers. There’s even some metal bands that are made up entirely of woman. It’s not nearly the novelty a lot of folks try to paint it as.

These are the female-led metal bands that are just off the top of my head.

It just hurts my head.

I like a lot of metal, specifically folk music oriented (pagan metal) and anything with droning voices and good throat roaring. Has to be a bit symphonic, not too chaotic. I wish fundevogel was still active. She made me discover so much good metal.
