The holidays are coming. Lots of you will be attending parties. One of our Jellies, who lives in Hawaii, mentioned that he was going to be serving pupus, which are kind of the Hawaiian equivalent of appetizers or hors d’oeuvres.
I don’t know about you, but these “Spring Vegetable Potstickers”:http://smittenkitchen.com/2013/05/spring-vegetable-potstickers/ sound pretty yummy.

These “Mediterranean Cucumber Cups”:http://www.thecomfortofcooking.com/2012/03/mediterranean-cucumber-cups-guest-post-giveaway-wins.html sound really good too.
never had them but I’d bet I’d like pupus more than poopoos!
Hopefully no one improperly handles their pupus during preparation, lest their guests end up with the poo-poos.
Well, my favorite is kalua pork sliders, but would not work for vegetarians such as you @Kardamom.
How about wasabi pea fritters? I love anything with wasabi.
Oh – just realized you mean pu pu as in pu pu platter?
I’ve never had pupu (pupus?) but I’ve had pupusas, thick corn tortillas stuffed with cheese/meat/refritos/whatever and served with cabbage. It’s a Central American food. I used to work with a Honduran guy and he introduced us all to some great pupuserias (that’s a real word!).
Mmmmm, now I want pupusas. It’s been years. I’m going to find some this week.
