Do you like the movie "Men in Black"?

I felt it was ok, with some amusing ideas, but kind of over-exaggerated and ridiculous. I had a hard time suspending disbelief at all about much of anything, which makes it hard for me to care or want to watch. But I know I am not typical in how I feel about such things.

I haven’t seen it for years but I remember enjoying it. I really liked the aliens in the spaceport.

I liked it, but without Tommy Lee Jones it wouldn’t have been nearly as good.

I didn’t find a need for it to be believable, just amusing.
TLJ is mighty good, but Will had some choice moments too. They make a great pair.
I own both the first and second.
I have fun revisiting them occasionally.

I enjoyed it. It was what it said on the tin. 90 minute comedy. I didn’t expect it to be life changing. Significantly better than watching two eps of Big Brother.

I actually got in a lot of trouble because of this movie. It came out when I first started working in the booth. So I was still playing with the projectors. Oh hey, the audio is in 5.1… I can kill everything except the center channel. The end credits of MiB were only Will Smith’s rapping on center, everything else came from left, right, sub and surround.

It was so crazy odd sounding with nothing but his voice. It was the most rhythmically awkward thing I have ever heard. It was almost dizzying.

It was so odd that when the credits came and the song started playing I would make a point to run over and kill the amps for everything but the center speaker the the crowd could experience this oddity.

Nearly got me fired.

I think it is great!
Plus I lust for the girl who says “I hate the living”.
If I didn’t have a great GF I would consider giving her a call.
Anyway, at this point, she is probably inappropriately old for me.
But who cares?
Maybe she likes younger guys?!
Maybe?

I am very critical of comedies.
I do love a good Sci-Fi.
That said, the film is meh, though I get that it had a huge cultural impact.

Loved it so much I saw it many times. Also really enjoyed the second one. Just goofy fun humor, strong acting, silliness, quirky characters.

I enjoyed it and thought it was silly but fun when I saw it in the theater with my kids about 20 years ago. Haven’t seen it since.

What I remember is I’ve never made it through the whole movie. I guess I wasn’t very entertained by it. I remember being disappointed, because I liked Independence Day so much and thought Men in Black would be a fun movie too. Maybe I’ll try to watch it again.
