What are you planning to buy during the Black Friday sale?

Black Friday was yesterday. In any case, I observe Buy Nothing Day instead.

bought nothing.

Nothing. I cleaned the house and started my Christmas cards. I finished my Xmas shopping in July. I buy things for people throughout the year. I have a list of everyone’s name in my phone, and when I get something for someone, I type it in. That way, I know who I still need to get gifts for, and who is completed.

I slept in and didn’t leave the house. It was all day pajama day for us.

I didn’t plan to buy anything but I ended up buying a small bag of baby potatoes for my tea, a dozen morning rolls, some Red Leicester cheese and four boxes of Bendicks mint chocolates for Christmas/New Year as they were half price in Tesco.

I had to work in the morning (the Stock Market was open), but after the close I didn’t shop, I chose to #optoutside.

I got a carton of soy milk and some vegetables.

I didn’t even know there was such a thing as Buy Nothing Day but I am all for it! And I have never consciously participated in Black Friday.

Some VR games to try.

A Wifi extender. I stayed overnight at my brother’s house and was reminded the wifi doesn’t reach the guest bedroom very well. By chance (or was it?) I saw the extender for $18.99 on Amazon later on Friday.

Nothing.
