Does "GQ" = good question, general question, or both?

I think I used “GQ” incorrectly today—in a thread about correct usage, no less.

Good.
Not General.
Good Question can also be given, of course, in Social, and Meta.
^Thanks!
Or “Great Question”, I guess I should have said, not “Good Question”.
I asked a question in the general section today and got an off-topic response, so I said “Reminder: GQ”, meaning, “this is general—stay on topic.” Then I suddenly got 3 “Great Question” votes, which surprised me, and now I realize that it looked like I was fishing for lurve.
Funny thing is, I saw that you wrote that, but I didn’t think you were fishing for lurve.
I thought you were bragging by saying “Guys, I don’t know if you have noticed, but I already got two GQ’s”.
But then I realized I could be totally wrong (and I was).
GK is General Knowledge. That might have caused the confusion with GQ meaning General Question! But it’s Great Question at least on Fluther..)
In context the GQ made sense to me. I read it as a gentle reminder that you’d put the question in general, and nothing more.
But I guess fishing is just fine if the jellies bite! :)
Yeah asking for lurve is okay. I’m the Queen here so I don’t have to ask. I just get.
