May I wish all of those Fluther members who have passed away, or who have left this site, wherever they might be, a very Merry Christmas, and to say that I miss you all, and that I wish we could all be together again?

Hope to see those who left come back after seeing this.

I agree. I’m sorry that there were such divisive issues in Fluther this year and I wish those who left voluntarily would come back. And I miss those who have died as well very much.

@Catnip5 . Yes. Unfortunately, we are all mortal, IRL, and sometimes we lose jellies.

The pattern I see is, we don’t hear from them for a while, and somehow it makes its way to us that the jelly has passed away…

We recently lost ,at least two, very valued jellies…

As for the ones that passes away, if possible, I’d prefer to stay on the top side of the grass and not join them soon.

Me too! So many that passed away I think of often. It’s crazy. Other’s that left or were thrown out, I miss too. I miss their input, their differences of opinion. Oh! It made this place ‘buzz’ even if there were never that many members.

Sometimes things happen and they shouldn’t.

Fortunately, and unfortunately I’m a little “over” debating online

I actually felt i should apologize for being such an angry punk online. I was reading some of my old answers and realized how much of a raging D I was.

I’m still an atheist, but its not something i advertise or even care about anymore.

Just focusing more on my life i guess. I left the navy after ten years and after some struggling, have a decent job and a place with my lovely fiance. We’re getting married in Aug.

I was on another forum known for some crazy conservatives and saw how all these wierdos are still arguing with terrible logic, so i figured “Let me go see how my level headed flutherites are.” lol

Good to see ya @LuckyGuy! Good to know some of us are back. Congrats on the marriage @Blackberry, and remember, we don’t have to argue with anyone, it’s always a choice. I’m a christian with many atheist and agnostic friends, LGBTQ friends, etc…. Just because we choose a different path, doesn’t mean we have to knock anyone else’s, just my take. I love to ‘discuss’ important things with intelligent people, that’s one of the reasons I came back here.
