What apps should I get for my new Android Moto X4 phone?

Two days ago, I entered the 21st century and replaced my flip phone with a smartphone – a Motorola Moto X4. Now I have to figure out how to get the most out of it. I don’t want to play games with my phone although I do have Sudoku.
What apps should I download. – preferably free – that would be useful? So far I have Cardboard (for VR), Firefox Focus (for secure browsing), GPS Status (for GPS info), NFC Tag info (for reading NFC tags).
What else do I need?
