I need glasses to watch TV clearly and read. I happen to be not wearing my glasses while watching TV and drinking tequila to celebrate the New Year and suddenly my vision improver! What gives?

If it was Budweiser it would be called “Beer Goggles”. ;>)
You know recently I experienced that for a week but it didn’t have anything to do with Tequila…
I would rather wear glasses than being drunk for this reason!!
I don’t know the specifics, but people – eyes, muscles, brain, stomach are all interconnected and have effects on each other, so it seems like the tequila did something that adjusted how your eyes function (or with enough tequila, maybe your experience/perception of your eyes). It could be it helps your eyes or the muscles that control them relax or just have different habits than the ones that have them focusing problematically, at whatever level.
Steve Fromholtz once said “Tequila makes things later” he never said anything about it improving your eyesight.
He also said that “Tequila was invented by the Mexicans when Diarrhea failed to kill the white men”.
I have had tequila make my eyes cross and my vision (and speech) blurry, but never noticed it improving my eye sight.
A shot of alcohol, will temporarily push blood into extremities. Maybe you got some extra blood in the eyes, and it improved the performance…
Not your eyesight, but your looks (at least in your mind!).
