Are we all following the “Fire and Fury” uproar?

The more forcefully Trump pushes back, the more true and accurate I think the book is. If it were false, he would be ridiculing it and pointing out inaccuracies.

The fact that he is trying to get is suppressed (his lawyers sent mail to the publisher), and the vehemence with which he reacted to Bannon – all tell me that the descriptions and allegations are 100% real.

My two cents: When you crap on others, you shouldn’t be surprised when they crap on you.

The book’s author is in an interesting position. If every allegation in the book is straight up slander, by now, what is a denial of ANYTHING worth on the part of Trump?

I am. When I read about the “cease and desist” letter last night, I laughed out loud. It’s the first good LOL I’ve had off of Trump. Wasn’t worth it, of course, but I felt like he owed it to me.

Now back to fuming, stewing, shivering, and cursing.

I can’t wait to read this. I’ve been following the story since it broke.

Not “following.” I am aware of the story. It’s kind of blending together with all the other crap though. I can’t look every time the idiot defends his insecurities.

I hope it causes Trump massive stress. He deserves it…

It actually surprises me how often I catch myself on the verge of feeling sorry for Trump.

@stanleybmanly, that happens to me, too. He must be just about the angriest and most disappointed person on the planet. Not that it isn’t his own fault, but . . . who actually enjoys his company? Does he have a single real friend who loves him for himself?

I also feel sorry for his poor youngest son, who looks utterly miserable and is probably learning all the wrong lessons about how to get along in the world.

^I have no empathy for any of them. With the misery that Trump will continue to dole out, I wish him all the strife he has coming. I hope his final years in this world are full of agony.

This is Trump’s bed. He made it. He can wallow in it. I won’t be throwing him a blanket…

But what if he doesn’t realize that he’s defective? Or what if he has just enough sense to realize that “things ain’t right” with him? And there’s the BIG question of who in their right mind would choose to be Donald Trump? I mean I don’t like rattlesnakes, but you can’t actually fault the snake for its unpleasant aspects

A snake is basically a program. It does what it does. It is incapable of greed, malice, or ethical thinking.

Trump, although a stupid man in my opinion, is capable of understanding the consequences of his actions, he just doesn’t care…

Now here is where we must pause and ask: does he really understand the consequences of his actions (most of the time)? Do you really believe him capable of “seeing himself as others see him?”

I think Trump may well have more in common with the snake when it comes to being driven by instinct and emotion.

^You’re missing what I said. I didn’t say Trump didn’t “understand” the consequences of his actions. I said he didn’t care. And he doesn’t. His life has been comprised of manipulating, and taking advantage of people. He has always been aware of the people he hurts. He simply doesn’t give a fuck…
