Is there any evidence that Orson Welles and Ernest Hemingway ever met?

If they had, what do you think – would they have gotten along?

They were friends and rivals but Welles disdained many of Hemingway’s macho postures, particularly on Spain. Here you go and there’s many more articles about them where that came from.
