What can a psp do when connected to mac os x?

Asked by bmhit1991 (246points) August 15th, 2008 from iPhone

I’m thinking about getting a psp, but if they can’t connect to macs for the psn store or for updates or anything, it won’t be worth it. Please give me details! Thank you!

I know their is an app by Nullriver PSPware that allows you to sync your Mac and PSP. Watch movies, transfer songs, etc. It’s only $15. It’s worth checking out.

you dont need any app, the disk will show up and you can transfer songs, vids, pics (and games if you hack it.)

what about software updates?

You can download PSP updates via WiFi, that’s how I do it.

eah, that’s probably the easiest, but you can do it with your mac if you want to.

can you download pan games via wifi as well? I’m wanting the silver bundle that comes out in October. It’ll have a voucher to download echochrome. Can I do that via wifi on my psp?

I think you have to have special pc software to transfer games like Echochrome. I’m not sure if you can download games directly to your psp via wifi though…

what’s these pan games?

psn games. You can download them from the Playstation network (psn) store….supposedly. I’m not entirely sure how it works since I don’t have one yet. =P

ah ok. Yes, you can download games directly from the playstation network store. just visit the store in your psp netbrowser.

As far as I know you can only download psp content (full games, demos, music etc etc) from either a PS3 or a Windoze PC! You need the PSN Downloader software. I think it works like a bittorrent client. So unless you have a PSP or Windows your struggling!
