Didn't iPhoto used to have a magic eraser?

Asked by xxporkxsodaxx (1398points) August 15th, 2008

I thought there was something in iPhoto where you select a color and those colors get erased, and you can scan across the screen after you select it and colors that are similar can be erased too. Am I imagining things or is there actually something that can do that?

Nope :)
Only the retouch tool.

Never come across this in iPhoto, various ways to do it in Photoshop though.

There is a feature in the iWork apps (don’t know if it’s in iPhoto) called “Instant Alpha” Essentially it puts a mask over portions of the image that you drag out based on color likeness. This is similar to erasing, except the image is not erased; it is masked.
