Where is your bed positioned in your bedroom?
Mine is under the widow on the far wall, facing the door. It’s a king sized, heated waterbed with a feather mattress on top of the plastic. It’s the best bed in the universe.

Allways in the corners. To keep the pillows from falling on the floor.
Depends on the relative orientation of the room to the planet I am orbiting.
On an inside wall, never by windows lol
Where is it in relation to the door?
Who me? Headboard is a few feet on his side, closer to his bathroom.
That’s bad feng shui @Dutchess. You should never have a bed under a window or with your feet facing the door.
You should never have your bed “under a widow”!
@Dutchess_III – it’s good to hear that another person of our vintage still sleeps in a waterbed. I have had mine since my mid-twenties.
My bed: interior wall, close to the door. Far from the bathroom
@janbb – can you store the widow under the bed ?
^^Depends how big the widow is,
My husband and I slept in a super single waterbed when I was pregnant with our first child. Worst experience ever. No widows were involved.
We have a regular king bed against the wall. I’m on the side where I can look out the windows and crack them open when I get hot. Jon is closest to the door.
There is only one way I could put it. Headboard is under the windows with the foot of the bed facing the door.
I don’t have a choice. Because of closets and bathroom doors, I only have two long walls, and my furniture is bulky, so it would only fit one way.
We have a queen size Select Comfort. The head is towards the west. The door is near the foot, to the right, and the bathroom door is at the foot.
But there is nothing better than lying under an open window with the breeze flowing over you!
Mine fits into a recess and faces south towards the windows. The bedroom door is to my left but out of sight.
Mine isn’t positioned under a widow but it is positioned under a divorcee!
Next to a wall, in the middle of the room, so that I can get off the bed from either side. A funny note, though, is that I sleep in the opposite direction from where the bed head is located as sleeping such way will allow me to stretch my hands 360 anytime without any obstacle.
Headboard against the South (generally) wall, door to the BR on the same wall to the East of the bed. The homeowners before us had it on the West wall between two windows. Did not like it. Would prefer it on the North wall but the bathroom door precludes this being an option so….
