Do you ever have really dark thoughts that you can't get rid of? Like murder?
I’m thinking about how, at this very moment, someone is probably being brutally tortured by a serial killer or something. Or being killed.
Do you guys ever think about all the really bad things that are happening, and how we are just living our lives doing nothing about it because we can’t because we don’t know it’s happening?

I am more concerned about the murder that’s taking place with the help from my tax dollars.

You can get active with groups that fight against the brutality of U.S. foreign policy, police brutality, prison solitary confinement/torture, anti-poor economic policy, etc.
This is not a political question but thanks
Yes, I do. I have to stop myself or I will be constantly horrified.
I try to avoid that because it just weighs me down. Thoughts like that can suck the life out of you, and in the global positive/negative balance, that adds to the dark side.
I’ve found the app “GoodNewsNetwork” a useful tool to remind me that there’s good in the world, even though that doesn’t tend to make headlines.
There really are ways you can help.
Right now, as I understand it, you are still in your teens. There are specialized task forces which work specifically to rescue sex slaves, and prosecute those guilty of trafficking. Others work to understand profiling, to bring down serial killers, kidnappers, terrorists, etc.
You should contact the FBI to ask about their requirements.
They are recruiting heavily these days.
Not really, I worry excessively about screwing something up and getting people hurt but that just makes me take my time and do things right.
I often think how amusing it would be to play real life cluedo with the house staff but then remember that Carstairs is getting on a bit & the shock may finish him off
