Would you be irritated if you went to a trivia night at a bar, and the waiter kept giving away answers?

There’s a trivia company called “Geeks Who Drink” and they hold trivia games at local bars around the country, and usually, it’s very entertaining. They also give away great prizes up to 50 bucks. But I went last night and the waiter (who doesn’t work for the trivia company) kept giving away answers, making the trivia feel utterly pointless. Your thoughts? Would you be annoyed?

Yes, I would be annoyed. What happened when someone asked him to stop?
Yes thats not his job. And not a great way to earn tips. Tell the management.
Yeah, that’s obnoxious. I’d complain to the place’s management if nothing was done that day.
If it was a place that did trivia night once a week they may be aware of it already but if this was a special event done by a company, and outside the bar’s usual scene, that’s a let-down, and they probably don’t know.
I’d complain.
I’ve never actually competed in bar trivia, but to the places I’ve seen, it’s always that you can Google stuff or what not. What’s the point then? To be social, I guess. After all, that’s the bar’s focus isn’t it?
Were they the right answers?
I used to clean movie theaters between showings and if it was busy there would be a line for the movie as we were walking out. So we would be lugging our bins and leaf-blowers out and I would drop a comment so people could hear.
I got in trouble for this a few times. Most notable was when “There’s Something About Mary” was playing. I accidentally gave away that Mary committed suicide near the end of the movie to the people waiting in line.
Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz.. No suicide involved.
