Here’s a question that has a lot of other’s Simplify Media usernames
what?what’s simplify media?
Oh, I thought you were referring to the new simplify media app. Since you don’t already know about it, you should check it out!
Just download iPod -> Folder (free) or something similar. It has a way of showing the hidden folders on the iPod that contain the music and then copying them to a location of your choosing. There are plenty of other programs that do similar things, but that’s one of the free ones.
Just be aware that if you bought the music from the iTunes Music Store with DRM on it you won’t be able to play it on another computer without signing into your iTMS account first. If the music has no DRM though you are good to go.
you can also download senuti, which will allow you to pull all of the songs off for free. You can burn the songs to a cd and then re-rip them to strip the DRM.
