Of all art forms, music does that the most frequent, and effortlessly, it seems.
Just one example {Hozier – Take Me To Church).

Driving south on US 101 into Hollywood one summer evening when I was 22, a friend put The Doors L.A.Woman on. It still gives me chills. What a night.

Yes, quite often.

KD Lang’s Hallelujah does it to me every time.

The first time I heard a live symphony orchestra, I was sitting in the middle of it playing. Goosebumps and tears.

Our school had bands, with no strings. I joined a regional orchestra, and my first rehearsal with them was my first time hearing a live string orchestra. It was a very emotional moment.
