How long did it take to get your 2017 tax refund?

Asked by elbanditoroso (33520points) February 26th, 2018

For those of you have already filed your income tax and got a refund:

What was the time interval between the day you filed and the day your tax refund direct deposit (or check) arrived?

I know what official IRS line is, but I wanted to know how the real world is operating.

Less than a week. I think it was four or five days. Direct deposit.

2 weeks. Direct deposit. That is federal. Still waiting on state taxes.

The real world for me is that I haven’t received a tax refund since 1991 when I got married.

We always pay extra when we send in our tax forms. The extra money that we send the IRS quarterly is never enough.
