Translation: “It is not you, it is me.” Flowery version of one of the most terrible break-up lines.
How about this one?
“bortaS bIr jablu’DI’ reH QaQqu’ nay’!”
“Yet if my line should die,
It dies with its teeth in the enemy’s throat,
It dies with its name on the enemy’s tongue.
For just as mere life is not victory,
Mere death is not defeat;
And in the next world I shall kill the foe a thousand times,
Laughing,
Undefeated. ”
This is the famous quote from Hillel. Each sentence is interesting by itself, but the passage is much more profound when taken together.
If I am not for myself, who will be for me?
If I am only for myself, what am I?
If not now then when?
“A true victory is to make your enemy see they were wrong to oppose you in the first place. To force them to acknowledge your greatness.” – Gul Dukat
“If you argue your limitations, they are yours.” – The Messiah’s Handbook.
