How to make ramen healthy?
Maybe put vitamins and minerals and fiber in each package? What else can we do? For at the factory and at home?

Place the salt flavor packet and noodles to the side. In a pan of low-sodium chicken broth, add plenty of vegetables and chicken breast for protein (optional). When the soup is almost ready to serve, throw the flavor packet and noodles into the trash and enjoy a healthy, delicious soup.
I used to use little of the flavor packet but had to give them up altogether because even the noodles alone are too high in sodium.
I didn’t know the ramen was ill. I hope he will become healthier. Maybe he should take vitamin C.
Melt Velveeta butter and milk. Makes great mac & cheese.
I add a couple eggs, and some cheese. Sometimes I add some bell pepper, or other random veggies. It doesn’t make it healthy, but it adds some stuff my body needs.
College students have asked this question for years, with no good answer.
I’m starting to be really concerned about your diet @RedDeerGuy1 haha. I mean how’s your sodium levels with all these long-lasting foods and starches?
Maybe I should be eating more raman noodles if it will increase my sodium count!
From Wiki: “noodles are made from four basic ingredients: wheat flour, salt, water, and kansui (かん水) (from kansui (鹹水, salt water)) a type of alkaline mineral water, containing sodium carbonate and usually potassium carbonate, as well as sometimes a small amount of phosphoric acid.”
So it’s about as healthy for you as spaghetti noodles or bread or whatever..

Well, I think it’s under control, but yes. It will fuck you up and I ain’t kiddin’! I ended up hospitalized for 2 days, strapped to an IV to bring it back in balance.
You want to avoid most of the common brands of ramen noodles that you see in the grocery store (like Top Ramen) because they are fried. You want to look for baked ramen noodles.
Ditch the flavor packets and add your own broth, spices, lean meats, and vegetables, or even an egg.
One of the best brands is Koyo, which is baked, and made with organic heirloom wheat noodles. The flavor packet that comes with Koyo noodles is somewhat acceptable and doesn’t contain any MSG or any weird chemicals or preservatives.

McDougal’s ramen is another decent choice, as it is baked and made with organic wheat noodles, and has decent ingredients in the flavor packet. Both of these brands are available on
