I know we have had some bucket list questions before, but I am curious to know if your items have changed over the years.
I was lucky to have ticked off a couple of items last month when I went to Yosemite (as an adult), and was in Yosemite (in wintertime).
Those things have been on my bucket list, ever since I heard the term “bucket list.” Most of my items are the same, but I have added some (and was lucky enough to tick some off).
What things are on your bucket list, and have they changed over the years?

To have my mom attend my graduation.
Bucket list for me:
1) go back to Europe, travel in Germany, return to France.
2) take a cruise almost anywhere
that’s for starters
Visit Norway and Scotland
Walk the Cinque Terre
See the San Juan Islands off of Washington State
Visit Mendocino
Get fluent in French – working on
Spend time in a cottage on my own or with an intimate friend.
Get to spend more time with my grandchildren than I do.
Bucket list: Spend a month in the Pacific Northwest with my massive extended family or sometimes just me and Rick. I want to go camping there. I want to go to the beach, climb the mountains.
You guys are forgetting the second part of the question. Are these bucket list items the same as they’ve always been, or have some of them changed over the years?
I’ve never really had a bucket list.
I don’t really think of it as a bucket list either. My ambitions and desires are constantly changing.
Its something that I wanted since I graduated from grade 12. I forgot to ask. I want family present when I go back to get my liberal arts degree in the distant future.
My travel desires that I had in my thirties, other than the ones I have taken, are pretty much the same.
A better question is who on my bucket list has changed. :)
Great timing for this Q. I just received my new passport in the mail. It only took about two weeks to get it! Very fast in my opinion. Here’s my list:
- Panama Canal Cruise
– More last minute short cruises anywhere.
– Spain
– Banff
– Own another home that doesn’t have the master off of the living room (my husband is driving me crazy and vice versa).
– Write something that gets published.
– Create a business that earns $50k or more a year that doesn’t control my life every day.
– Reach 140 pounds again. Maybe at my age I should make it 145.
