Have you faced issue related to mobile battery charging?

It’s taking longer to charge it fully than usual. Any issue with the battery or charging mechanism ?

On my cell but that was caused by “hung” update to an app. I had to force the update to stop by removing it and then the next date reload. The install was in some kind of a loop I guess, it was using 20 % of the battery when phone was idle.

Not really I just charge it every four or five days and forget about it.

At first was fine but then I had to go through 2 cords a month . Now it doesn’t charge and I had to buy a chrome book.

My battery takes longer to charge and runs down more quickly than before. I now carry a battery charger but i think the battery needs replaced. It is four and a half years old.

I’m the same. Longer to charge, shorter battery life. The cord doesn’t seem to work as well, either. If I move it just a bit it stops charging. I have to have it in perfect alignment. All of these issues have been dealt with with other phones I’ve had, too. It also doesn’t work as fast either but I won’t turn this into a phone complaint thread.

Chargers vary. New ones are typically 1.0 or 2.0 amps. Sometimes I find that people have old ones that only put out 0.5 amps.

@Call_Me_Jay I’ll have to look into that. But why was it working faster before?

If you’re using the same charger, then my comment isn’t relevant.

@dxs A mobile battery phone charger is used to recharge a mobile phone’s battery when it is getting low. It doesn’t power the mobile phone directly but it can be carried with your mobile to recharge its battery as required. I think rechargeable batteries lose efficiency over time which is why I plan to change mine in the near future.
