When was the last time you took a long weekend with your best friend?

Without your kids or your spouse? What did you do? Where did you go? Was everybody cool with it, or did anyone try to make you feel guilty about taking time away from your family?

Would you like to take more “mini vacations” with just your best friend? Do you think it’s a good idea to make these sojourns a regular part of your life?

Hhmmm….If you are saying my wife isn’t my best friend, then I have to stop and think about it. My best friend came down for a visit 2 years ago and we went to spend the day with him. But it still included my spouse. He was best man at our wedding and has known my wife for a long time so it isn’t really an odd thing.

I only travel with friends now if I am not traveling alone. i did a long weekend in Cambria, CA a year ago with a friend and went to Santa Fe with another one last October.

@ janbb Cambria is one of the most lovely towns I’ve ever been to.

Santa Fe, NM is on my bucket list.
