So, other than the various kinds of hot peppers, what food ingredient/s immediately come to mind (items that found in most of the world)? Radish, ( is it found all over the world?) Anyway, what else is very common all over the world, and burns the tongue?

pepper, chili, mustard, wasabi, onions, hydrochloric acid
Some people find raw ginger as hot/burning.
Strong alcohol to the mouth.
Raw garlic
Cilantro
Raw onions
@ragingloli, LOL! Yeah hydrochloric acid is pretty damn hot!
Hot dogs, hot sauce, hot English muffins, hot chocolate, anything stolen that might be considered ‘hot’.
Ok, Re. some of the things you mentioned, like onions, alcohol, cilantro, very strong, but hot as in hot peppers? I’m not talking degree just the kind of taste, I don’t know….
You’re referring to spicy hot, not temperature. @Yellowdog knew that! He was just yanking your chain.
Well, you mentioned “degree” which I took to mean temperature like what @Yellowdog popped off with. Sry.
Are you asking for foods that are AS spicy hot as a hot pepper?
Degree meaning level not a measure of temprature.

Yes @flo. I got that. So are you asking if there are any foods that are just as hot as a hot pepper?
That horseradish or whatever it is you get with Sushi—as I mentioned, THAT stuff is hot enough to do physical damage. Water does not help, Fruit such as cantalope might.
Not sure how it compares with pure hot pepper.
@RedDeerGuy1 Pimentos are a kind of hot peppers aren’t they? So, my OP is other than the different kind of hot peppers. So, Horseradish, Ginger and Cinnnamon (the stick), ...burn, maybe not as much as hot peppers esp. some of them, but they burn.
@flo I have no idea what a pemento is made from. Sorry.
Pixy sticks and cotton candy burn my tongue. Cola syrup is corrosive and burns too. Bratwurst can be hot and spicy
I think @flo is right. They’re a kind of pepper.
