Why hasn't Bill Gates tried to take over the world yet?
He can totally afford a headquarters in a volcano.

I don’t think he wants to, and there are far more powerful and wealthy elements who would react if he steps out of line.
What’s the point? Half the world would criticize him just because he has money. The other half would criticize him because he is white, American, and intelligent.
He doesn’t need the tzuris.
I don’t think he’s that evil as portrayed by some people on the internet. In fact he’s giving away large part of his money through “Melinda Gates” foundation for social causes.
Pretty sure he has too much sense for that. He’s already got what he wants.
The way things are going it might not be a bad thing if he did.
Microsoft took over the world more than 20 years ago. One day Gates will get fed up and every windows and Linux server in the world will connect with Seattle. He will control the vertical and the horizontal.
What makes you think he isn’t?
He’s trying to affect the entire world. It’s more insidious the way he’s doing it. I’m half joking.
He is trying to put a computer in every home, and get rid of some diseases from the planet, and improve K-12 education, and quite a lot of things that governments usually do.
He has more freedom than governments to influence changes around the world, because his foundation isn’t in the public eye as much as politics. His foundation doesn’t go unnoticed though. I’m pretty sure they used to give a lot of money to Planned Parenthood, and stopped? Is that correct? I know the right wing was after the Gates’ for being horrible abortion funding terrible people.~ Oy.
In some ways he is around the world in more ways than a president of a country, and he gets to pick and choose his interests. Sounds better than actually being a political leader.
James Bond already thwarted him. Reference the 007 film, “Play Anti Christ Another Day”. (Que 007 theme).
He has taken over the world. He did that 25 years ago. It is called Windows.
