Why don't people take control of their news feeds on Facebook?
People complain about their feed. They go so far as to suggest anyone on their friend’s list should not post anything that they don’t like, or don’t agree with.
Just a moment ago a gal posted, “Just spent a few minutes looking at my feed and now I remember why I don’t get on Facebook any more.”
People! You control what you see! If you don’t like it, don’t demand that other people change to suit you. You need to take control of who you let into your virtual world.
I don’t understand this.

Because some people are drama mongers, even though they claim that they hate drama.
Other people want to be “in the know” even though they can’t stand to see what some people have to say/believe/are interested in.
Other people don’t know how to change their settings.
Some people would prefer if everybody agreed 100% with what they believe.
I just offered to help the gal who make the last comment. She said she’d PM me later.
Lots of (maybe most) people I know have little awareness that settings exist in computer applications.
Lots of people are just down right terrified of computers. My ex boss was one. She’d get so mad because she’d stand behind me and watch me so stuff and things would happen on the screen and she didn’t know how I did it (hot keys) which pissed her off. She even wrote me up for it once!
@Dutchess_III I believe users of facebook get their news on facebook.
Oh. No. The “Newsfeed,” is what shows up on your account. If may be actual news but most of it is just posts by other people.
The controls,. at least in my case, don’t work. It forgets my settings.
Well, it can be tetchy. Like, I have my over all controls set to friends except for This One Person. However, if I change it for one post to “all friends,” it then defaults to that setting for future posts. I think they’re trying to fix that.
